Overbloom, too much shadow and colors are too extreme (way too white or too black).There are other settings GTA uses such as the visualsettings (draw distance, which objects should be specular lit, or which objects are shiny and etc.) and timecycle which are the actual weather/environment settings.But if you enb can also modify the environmental settings so it only exergates the effects.Hence why I told you to lookup Visual IV first. In the hands of a newbie, it can ruin your game making it look terrible.The default settings, to me, are terrible. The mod mainly lets you adjust bloom, color correction, HDR lighting and shadows with various quality, car reflective qualities, lighting and environmental qualities, and other settings. In TLAD, it is a little dark in the interior buildings but fantastic outside over all weather conditions.Some of best ENB Tuners are Dpeasant, AlexFake, Dendi, Ivan, Pitch (for 1.0.7.0 patch or EFLC) and others.If you install ENB, you need to install the exact patch those guys used to get the right effect or you'll end up with a lot of extremes as you saw.I suggest you visit GTAForums.

Click to expand.What I keep asking myself is WHY they didn't release GTA IV that actually worked.We had to wait for SEVEN patches before we could play the game.When I first installed the game & ran it with no patches it would run at 1fps, jump to 60 then back to one, it was like slo mo, completely unplayable, the car wouldn't even move and you couldn't even do one mission.How can such a large and rich company not produce a working game in the first place?Oh well, at least after 7 patches it fixed the game.

Here's mine:GTA4 1.0.4.0 patch+ icenhancer 1.3 (by icelaglace from GTA4 mods) + H1Vltg3i's settings + KBL's settingseats a lot of GPU powernot shown in the screenshot is the 3 times more pedestrians (city has moar people)oh, and it seems these mods are much more compatible with the older 1.0.4.0 patchNegative stuff about the mod:i had to disable windows live required by the mod so can't play multiplayerthere are some parts that are pretty dark, and some cutscenes depending on the time of day are :screenshots. But i can adjust my grafic to get about 43 fps.i tried some other ENB's.but they are too much colored, using DoF, are outdatet or are not good for (my) performance.My hardware:i5 3450 3,3 (3,5 ghz)16gb RAMSapphire r9 280oc 4gb. When i scroll through my itemmenu, the items (pictures) need a time to load. Like the Phinix Natural ENB.But i have a problem with Phinix ENB. But i dont know.I really want to use a subtle ENB. Like in the old times.But for myself, i would prefer a quite brighter night.And i tried to change the ENB-Settings like ambientelightning and more. I only have CoT v5.no lightning mod like RLO or something.CoT brightness is still on 'vanilla options'.But i have deleted the 'RealVision ENB 'for' CoT v5' and tried the original RealVision mod again.This mod is much more better. Hey:)I have installed Skyrim an some of my old mods (newer version) again, because my old HDD crashed.Actually, i have everything installed, what i want.But. Even if it was not, how the fuck does someone thinking the game is too dark have anything to do with them being a 'pussy'? 'The game is too dark' is a legitimate complaint. But interiors are just way too dark, even when I turn off ENB with Shift+F12. My exterior lighting is great and I'm more than happy with the look and feel of my game.
